Chickpeas - Gluten Free Hamburger
Chickpeas: Burgers – Gluten Free Recipeicon GF no flour

An unique dish, very tasty and vegetarian based on chickpeas which can replace the classic hamburger meat.

I cook gluten Free version with sandwich and chips. Everything is perfect for us with celiac disease.

Ingredients: 5 burgersIcon numberFlour SG Mediterranean Pleasures

• 1 Tin of chickpeas (270 grams drained),
• 50 grams of white onion,
• 1 sprig of parsley,
• 2 tablespoons flour gluten free – I have used flour gluten free by Piaceri Mediterranei ,
• 1 sprig of Rosemary,
• 20 grams of Parmesan or grana padano, hamburger bread Mediterranean pleasures
• nutmeg (quantum satis),
• extra virgin olive oil (EVO),
• Salt,
• bread for hamburgers-I used the Hamburger bread by Piaceri Mediterranei .


Drain the chickpeas from their liquid and wash well under running water.
Take a kitchen Blender. Put the chickpeas, chopped onion, parsley, some needle of Rosemary, Salt (quantum satis), a little nutmeg. Blend it all.

Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add a little flour.
Mix and add the grated cheese.

Form the chickpea burgers with hands (slightly greased with oil) or use a tool to make hamburgers (as I make).
Add a drop of oil to the dough if you used the tool.

Place the burgers on the plate lined with baking paper – add few oil drops over.
Bake in the preheated oven for chickpea burgers 20 minutes.
Turn halfway through cooking. The burgers should be golden brown.

I garnish the burgers with salad and sliced tomatoes and I put near the Parker
I used the potatoes gluten free by Pizzoli (I cooked the potatoes in the oven for 13 minutes).

Cut into two parts the bread for hamburgers; put in the oven for 2 minutes or over a hot grill.
Arrange in the dish and everyone at the table.
